The Doctor

Dr. Brian Sayler, D.C.

Doctor of Chiropractic

Hi, my name is Dr. Brian J. Sayler. I was a South Dakota raised farm kid, raised on a cattle feedlot, who chose to be a Chiropractor. I still have a love for farming and livestock. I am married to my wife Heidi with five children, Garrett, Madeline, Grace, Levi, and Elijiah.

I have many hobbies which include exercising and weightlifting, boating and camping, and hunting. With our young children we are very busy going to their activities which we receive much joy from.

I am very excited that you chose our site and office to improve your life journey in health. I have had many injuries with farming, sports and power lifting, but this is my story about how I became a Chiropractor.

When I was 14 years old, I had a terrible sports injury which basically disabled me. I was unable to walk very well and could not stand up straight. I was bent over at the waist forward about 20 degrees. I had seen my local M.D. and he prescribed me pain medications and muscle relaxants, which did not help much at all. This was about one week of time when I went to the Orthopedic Institute, which was in its early conception, I saw an orthopedic surgeon, in which he gave me stronger medications and a back brace for my pain.

Well, I was out of pain, but still could not stand up straight and still not able to participate in sports. I literally was walking around hunched over for about 3 weeks. I finally did not have much pain, but could not stand up straight and walk well.

Finally, one of our neighbors had suggested going to a Chiropractor in Yankton, SD. We chose Dr. C. J. Plath. My mother and father made me an appointment, and it was one of the best things that had ever happened to me. We went in and he consulted with us for quite a while, took some x-rays and described exactly to us what had happened to my lower back. He continued on by giving me my very first adjustment and I walked out of his office upright without any pain. I was fully functional and could return to sports immediately.

This changed my life from that point on. So at that point in my life I knew I was going to be a farmer or a Chiropractor. When I was a senior in high school, my father passed away unexpectedly and from that point on, I knew I was going to be a Chiropractor. I am so excited that you have chosen one of our clinics to enhance your health through Chiropractic. We strive to do our very best to give you the best Chiropractic experience of your life.

We are excited to serve you! Your health and future is what gets us excited, because we want you to excel in life in whatever you do.
